Malia's 2nd Road Trip to San Diego - Day 1 of 3 (16AUG09)

We left at 6:30am on Sunday, 16AUG09 and drove down to San Diego. We arrived in San Diego at 3:15pm after making a few stops along the way. Our first stop was Great Grandma and Grandpa Wales house. This was the first time they met Malia. Malia really enjoyed her time at Great G. & G. Wales house especially playing with their Woah Woah's (i.e. dogs and new puppies). The condo we stayed at was ready at 4:30pm, so we headed over to check-in. We had a very nice view of the bay. Thank you Grandma Jane and Grandpa Bill for inviting us to stay. Here's a couple of pics of our view, the patio and the livingroom:







Later that evening, we went to Great Grandma and Grandpa Saiz's for dinner. Now that Malia is over 1 years old, she was able to taste Great Grandma's delicious Mexican food. "Malia, What do you say when something tastes good? Malia: Mmmmmm!!

We had a nice visit with Great G. & G. Saiz and Great Auntie Liz. We missed Grandpa Abel, Grandma Lori and Uncle Gabriel who couldn't make it. Here's a couple of pics we took below:

We went to the Cheesecake Factory on Sunday and Daddy's favorite resturant, Valle Sol, on Monday. Mama took me to Gymboree on Monday morning while Grandpa Bill kicked my Dada's butt at golf. Grandma Jane and Nana came with us to Gymboree. Thank you Grandma, Grandpa and Nana for the books and Minnie Mouse. The visit was so much fun. I can't wait to see them again.

1st time Malia met her Uncle, Auntie & Cousins

On Saturday, June 20th Malia met her Uncle Brandon, Auntie Mary, cousins-Abigail, Audrey and Anna for the 1st time. It was my 1st time meeting Mary and the girls and Daniel's 1st time meeting Audrey and Anna.

We were so happy that they were able to visit us on their roadtrip from Maine to Alaska. We enjoyed dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant-Valle Sol. The next day we took the girls to The Jungle. The girls had so much fun. Check out the pics we took below at The Jungle:

Malia's been saying more and more words everyday. Malia sometimes even copies what we say...so we have to be careful of what we say. Here's a recent video of Malia giggling as Daddy sings a Gymboree song "Grizzly Bear" and words and things she's been saying and doing these days....

Malia is no longer our baby girl. Malia's now our lil toddler. We can't believe Malia is 16 months. Time flies. Well, we thought we'd share some recent photos of our baby girl....I mean our lil toddler :) Enjoy!

Malia's 1st time at a T-ball game

On Saturday, March 28th, Malia's cousin Brandon had a T-ball game in Belmont. Malia's never been to a T-ball game, so we decided to go and have a family outing. It was a beautiful day...80degrees. Malia had a fun time and enjoyed walking around, playing with cousin Taylor and Pall Pall and sitting on Daddy's shoulders while watching the game.

On Februrary 28th, we brought our SUV in for routine maintenance and while we were waiting....Malia and Daddy took a walk around the car displays. So cute! Daddy enjoyed his special time with Malia...
